LaDonna R Garner

LaDonna R Garner, 89, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 12, 2024.

She was born May 4, 1935, to Henry Kruse and Sarah Hodges Kruse in Fairbury, Nebraska. She was the fourth of seven daughters of Henry and Sarah. The family moved to Pocatello when she was young, and she lived here her entire life. She graduated from Pocatello High School in 1953.

LaDonna married Clyde Garner on July 2, 1955, and they were blessed with three children: Steve (Pocatello), Linda (Idaho Falls), and Jeane (Meridian). She and Clyde were married for 45 years before his passing in 2000. 

She spent many years as a volunteer in the Bannock Boys Baseball organization. She also enjoyed bowling, card games of all types but especially pinochle, and cribbage, and traveling around the country with her sister, Veda. Those who knew her knew that she was always good for good times filled with lots of laughter.

LaDonna is survived by her children; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by her parents, Henry and Sarah; her husband, Clyde; and her sisters, Peggy, Virginia, Goldie, Ramona, Lois, and Veda.

It was Mom's wish that no services be held at this time.
