d. August 4, 1970

Kyle Gates Taylor returned home to his Heavenly Father after losing his battle to cancer. He was born on August 4, 1970 in Idaho Falls to Roberta Taylor and Sam Taylor. They later moved to Pocatello. Kyle attended Chubbuck Elementary, Hawthorne Junior High, and graduated from Highland High School in 1988. He later attended and graduated Idaho state University Auto Mechanics program. He married his sweetheart Lana Cunningham on September 14, 1991. He was . A convert to the LDS church, and in June 22, 2000 they became eternal companions in Logan Utah Temple . Kyle had many jobs, including Ricks Mitsubishi, Bengal Brake and Alignment, Jack in the Box, Red Lion Hotel, Common Cents, Blaze Sign, and his last job at ON Semiconductor. Kyle's interests included auto racing, he was a flag man at the Pocatello Speedway, NASCAR, working on automobiles, camping, Penguins, Denver Broncos, but most of all building Legos with his kids. Kyle was an a active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and belonged to the 41st ward. He loved and appreciated all of the members, they were another family to him. He is survived by his wife, Lana Cunningham Taylor; daughters, Chantell Alexis, and Katelyn Mae of Pocatello; a son, Cameron Kyle, of Houston, Texas, serving an LDS mission; his mother, Roberta Taylor; brother, Kevin Taylor; sister, Patty Taylor, all of Pocatello; his father, Sam Taylor, of Texas. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilfred and Gladys Kinzer, Samuel and Olive Taylor, Father-in-Law, Eldon Cunningham, brother in law, Brent Cunningham, and a niece, Andrea McLaren. Services for Kyle will be held on Monday, November 25, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the LDS 41st Ward located at 1700 Kinghorn. There will be a viewing on Sunday for Kyle from 6-8:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 South 4th and again at the church one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
