Kharter Lowe Dugger

March 26, 2012 — September 23, 2012

Kharter Lowe Dugger was born to Torri Lynn Dugger and Steven Dietz Pongah on March 26, 2012 at the Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho. He was born a premature baby weighing in at 4 lbs. 15 oz. He was born to be a warrior, fighting since the day he was born. Remembered as the happiest baby, Kharter never had a bad day. When Kharter was a little under a month old, he was given the Indian name “Holy Wind.”

When he was two months old, Kharter went on his first long road trip to Boise, Idaho to meet his family. Kharter always loved to ride in the car. He really enjoyed being in the car while the music was bumping. Kharter was such a daddy's boy, sharing many likes with his daddy. Kharter enjoyed watching Spongebob Squarepants as soon as he woke up every morning with a smile on his face. One of Kharter's most recent hobbies was playing with his tongue, just one of the many things his daddy taught him. Kharter was used to getting his picture taken and he never minded posing. He was always the center of attention, and that's the way he liked it. His favorite thing to do was take a bath. He always kicked, making himself laugh, and played in the water as if there was no care in the world. Kharter had a few older playmates that loved and adored him. If Kharter wasn't laughing and making everyone else laugh, you would find him sleeping. He loved to sleep through everything. When Kharter's mom and dad graduated, Kharter slept through the whole graduation. And just recently, he learned how to say “Da-Da-Da” for his Daddy.

He is survived by his loving family, his mother Torri Lynn Dugger, his father Steven Dietz Pongah, maternal grandmother, Pamela Stone (Ronald Diaz), maternal grandfather, Jack (Julie) Dugger, paternal grandfather and grandmother, Daniel and Tula Galloway-Moss, paternal grandfather, Quinten Pongah, great-grandmother, Linda Morris. He had many relatives but the ones that were the closest to him were: Kodee Lowe Dugger, Juton Poowegup, Adrian and Landen White, Ranelda Stone, Lemuel (Carol) Stone, Carlos (Loya) Broncho, Faron Stone, Krysta Northrup, Mana Sagario, Brodee Adakai, Gavin Eldridge, Tyrese Adakai, Joe Perez, Jaecie Buckman, Mylsez Kniffin, Seleste and Czar Stone, Virgil White, Talia (Sissy) Diaz, Teron, Jonas and James.

He will be welcomed to heaven with open arms by his maternal side of the family; great-grandmothers, Yvonne Broncho and Carol Thompson, great-great-grandmother Lorraine Weiser, great-grandfather, Edmund (Ezzie) Stone, great-great-grandfather, Charles Stone, and great-great-grandmother Zelda Stone. His paternal side of the family; Aunt Celeste Poowegup and great-grandfather, Roger Galloway.

His viewing will be Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W Chubbuck Road, Chubbuck, Idaho from 5:00-6:45 p.m. with family services to follow at 7:00 p.m. After services, Kharter will be taken to Daniel and Tula Galloway-Moss' residence on West Ferry Butte Road where a wake will begin and continue through until traditional services start at sunrise, Thursday, September 27, 2012, with viewing until 2:00 p.m. He will then be taken to the Mission Church Cemetery in Fort Hall, Idaho for burial.
