Kharter Lowe Dugger was born to Torri Lynn Dugger and Steven Dietz Pongah on March 26, 2012 at the Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho. He was born a premature baby weighing in at 4 lbs. 15 oz. He was born to be a warrior, fighting since the day he was born. Remembered as the happiest baby, Kharter never had a bad day. When Kharter was a little under a month old, he was given the Indian name “Holy Wind.”
When he was two months old, Kharter went on his first long road trip to Boise, Idaho to meet his family. Kharter always loved to ride in the car. He really enjoyed being in the car while the music was bumping. Kharter was such a daddy's boy, sharing many likes with his daddy. Kharter enjoyed watching Spongebob Squarepants as soon as he woke up every morning with a smile on his face. One of Kharter's most recent hobbies was playing with his tongue, just one of the many things his daddy taught him. Kharter was used to getting his picture taken and he never minded posing. He was always the center of attention, and that's the way he liked it. His favorite thing to do was take a bath. He always kicked, making himself laugh, and played in the water as if there was no care in the world. Kharter had a few older playmates that loved and adored him. If Kharter wasn't laughing and making everyone else laugh, you would find him sleeping. He loved to sleep through everything. When Kharter's mom and dad graduated, Kharter slept through the whole graduation. And just recently, he learned how to say “Da-Da-Da” for his Daddy.
He is survived by his loving family, his mother Torri Lynn Dugger, his father Steven Dietz Pongah, maternal grandmother, Pamela Stone (Ronald Diaz), maternal grandfather, Jack (Julie) Dugger, paternal grandfather and grandmother, Daniel and Tula Galloway-Moss, paternal grandfather, Quinten Pongah, great-grandmother, Linda Morris.
