Kevin N. Jones

Kevin Neal Jones, 67, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2019 in Pocatello, Idaho. He was born on November 11, 1951 in Idaho Falls, ID. He was raised in Lewisville, ID, moving to Aberdeen, ID in 1967. He then moved to Wyoming in 2007. Kevin served in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany. He worked for the Idaho Transportation Department and Commercial Property Manager in Wyoming. He was a member of the LDS Church. Kevin enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and anything outdoors. He was a rock collector, loved taking his grandkids to the movies and bowling. He loved playing Angry Birds and video chatting with family. He loved his Shih Tzu dogs and seeing wild horses run. Kevin had many friends and we will all miss him dearly. God speed Kevin. Kevin is survived by his daughter, Sierra (Jeremy) Peace of Soda Springs, ID, daughter, Star Jones of Modesto, CA, daughter, Marcola Smith of Ogallala, NE; son, KJay Smith of North Platte, NE; step-son, Lex (Apryl) Kemp of Stockton, CA, step-son, William (Melissa) Kemp of Idaho Falls, ID; sisters, Eleanor, Louise, Barbara, Janet Teresa; and brothers, Donald and Fred; 17 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; parents, Alton and Margaret Jones; brother, Stanley; sister, Beverly; love of his life, Tawnya; and partner, Jackie. Veterans Honors for Kevin will take place on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the Southeastern Idaho Veteran Memorial located across from the Rose Garden just before the 4th and 5 th Street South merger, lower Ross Park on So. 4 th .
