Kenneth Ray Morin

Kenneth R. Morin "Big Chief" was born in Hallock, Minnesota on June 25, 1953 to Roman and Grace Morin. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on November 10, 2020 in Pocatello, Idaho.

Ken grew up in Pembina North Dakota and graduated from Pembina Public School in 1971. He received a baseball scholarship and attended Devils Lake Junior College. Ken married Dorthy Stegman on October 27, 1972. He worked for the FBI from 1991 until he retired in April of 2020.

Ken was a member of the NRA. He was very charitable, donating to non-profit organizations and charities, too many to list. His hobbies include camping, hunting, fishing, poker, cribbage, and golfing. Above all, Ken loved spending time with his family and friends. He always made sure that everyone ate until they couldn't eat anymore. Ken was a dear friend to all and will be deeply missed.

Ken is survived by his sweet wife Dorothy Morin of Pocatello, ID; mother Grace Morin of Ashland, MT; brothers Roman (Patty) Morin of Washington and Lyman (Leslie) Morin of Ashland, MT; Sister Sandra Morin of Grand Forks, ND; daughter Desani (Jason) Raschke and their children Shelby (Tinley), Taylor, Talon, and Alyssa of Chubbuck, ID; daughter Rachel (Ralph) Montoya and their children Kenyon and Konner of Chubbuck, ID; son Shane Morin and his children Waylon and Matti of Pocatello, ID; and daughter Amber (Ryan) Dardano and their children Aspen and Jackson of Arvada, CO.

Ken was preceded in death by his father, Roman Morin Sr. and his sister-in-law Leslie Morin.

A celebration of life will be held in Ken's honor at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road Chubbuck, Idaho.
