Kenneth Richard Pevo, Jr., 50, of Pocatello, passed away on September 18, 2011, at his home. He was born on June 24, 1961, the third of eight children. He attended Hillcrest Elementary and Junior High, and graduated from American Falls High School in 1979. In high school he was active in rodeo and Indian Club. He also attended the ISU Vo-tech studying diesel mechanics. He was married on November 21, 1980 to Delvilleia Neaman. Together they raised two boys: Colt and Darrell. Kenneth worked in potato warehouses and on area farms. He also helped on the ranch of his father Ken Pevo, Sr. and also Darrell Lawson's Ranch, aka Sherriff Lobo. He enjoyed watching his nephews and nieces play basketball and baseball. He also enjoyed playing cards at the community center, horse shoe tournaments, stick games, as well as doing hides and breastplates and other native arts and crafts. He was also a sun dancer. Ken was a good conversationalist and loved teasing and joking. He was a family man and outdoorsman who loved fishing and camping. He is survived by his wife Debbie; sons Colt and Darrell; parents Kenneth and Elaine; siblings Delphina (Allan) Cootes, Berdleen (Dan) Sorrell; Trema (Oren) Washakie, Alberta (Ted) Williams, twins John and Johnnie; Susan (David Cerino Jr) Pevo, Steele (Wendy) Martin; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ken is preceded in death by his grandparents Hugh and Mae Lipps Pevo; aunts Dorothy Pevo George and Ruby "Gladys" Pevo; and uncle Herbert Pevo. Family will receive friends from Tuesday to Thursday at the home of Debbie Pevo, Rt 2 N. Box 77B. Burial will be at the Bannock Creek Cemetery on Thursday.
