Kenneth Bruce Miller

February 22, 1951 — July 16, 2015

Bruce was born in Springfield, MO to Richard "Buzz" and Norma Miller. At age 2 his family relocated to California, settling in the Modesto area, where Bruce was raised and attended local schools including Modesto High School, MJC, and CSU Fresno, earning his degree in Journalism and Public Relations.

Bruce worked in the sales and beverage industry for over 40 years. In 2006, he and wife Carlene relocated to Idaho where he continued to work for Monster Beverage Company, and enjoyed his later years in a new state that he was happy to call home. Bruce passed on July 16th after incurring complications from a stroke.

Bruce had immense love for his family and friends, and in his free time you could find him swinging a golf club, relaxing on his patio with family and enjoying the simple pleasures of life with those that he loved. Bruce was easy to be around, a joy to be with, and always lifted the spirits of those in his presence. He always made conversations more interesting and always kept those around him on their toes with his quick and irrefutable wit. If you were in the company of Bruce, you were always smiling.

Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Richard "Buzz" Miller. Survived by his loving wife, Carlene Miller, children Eric Miller (Beatrice) of Madera, CA, Stefanie Sanchez (Andy) of Hughson, CA, Crystal Miller of Modesto, CA, Nathan Miller (Katrina) of Reno, NV; step-children Renee Carranza (Hector) of Denair, CA, Josh Baskins (Heather) of Pocatello, ID, and Megan Baskins of Pocatello, ID. Bruce is also survived by his mother Norma Miller Sherman of Modesto, CA; 2 younger sisters Julie Brughelli (Jim) of Modesto, CA, and Suzi Kosko (Joe) of Fresno, CA, and 12 grandchildren that he cherished dearly. Bruce will be utterly missed by the loved ones who are left to feel the loss of his presence. 'We love you, Bruce, and will always carry you with us.'

A celebration of life and remembrance, for those who would like to attend, will be held at Samaritan Village on August 1, 2015 at 2:00pm. Samaritan Village is located at 7700 Fox Road in Hughson, CA.
