Kelly Hall

Our beloved wife and mother Kelly L. Hall, age 57, passed away July 5 th , 2016 after a brief battle with cancer. Kelly was born May 7 th , 1959, in Lima, Ohio, the daughter of Carl and Connie Engle. Kelly currently resided in Pocatello, Idaho with family. Kelly was raised in Lima, Ohio, and graduated from Shawnee High School in 1977. She graduated in 1979 from Lima Technical College with an Associate Degree in Nursing. Kelly started her lifelong career in nursing at Lima Memorial Hospital and was still employed as an ICU nurse at Portneuf Medical Center, Pocatello. Kelly worked most of her career in the ICU and was most passionate about caring for cardiac patients. Kelly was well loved by her peers as she was a mentor and friend to many of her fellow nurses. On August 31, 1977, she married her high school sweetheart David R. Hall, at the Lima West Church of Christ in Ohio and they celebrated almost 39 wonderful years together. David and Kelly were blessed with three children; Ryan, Amber, and Chad. David and Kelly had a dream to live "out west" and in 1993 the whole family moved from Ohio to Pocatello, Idaho. Kelly was known as a wonderful and amazing cook and she loved to serve good food to friends and family. Her family will miss her pies, potato salad, and lasagna! Kelly also enjoyed camping with friends and family as well as fishing with her husband David. Where ever Kelly was she almost always had her nose in a book. She was blessed to have 11 grandchildren and loved spending time with them, whether it was riding a roller coasters or taking them to haunted houses for fun. Kelly was a member of the Church of Christ-Pocatello. Her church family was very dear to her and she enjoyed spending time with them all. She gave her life to Christ and in that we can rejoice. Kelly is survived in death by her husband David Hall. Her sons Ryan (Monica) Hall and Chad Hall. Her daughter Amber (Zac) Haggard. Also her parents Carl and Connie Engle. Her 11 grandchildren: Kaylie, Colton, Austin, Olivia, Ryley, Mason, Ayden, Aubree, Brooke, Hailey, and Shayla. Kelly was preceded in death by her brother Bret Engle. Memorial service will be held on July the 9 th at 3pm at the Pocatello Church of Christ, 3224 Hawthorne Rd.
