Keith I. Larsen

July 19, 1947 — October 5, 2010

Our loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend passed unexpectedly on October 5, 2010 with his family at his side. He was born July 19, 1947 in Pocatello, Idaho to Lynden M. and Lois Larsen. He attended Pocatello High School and completed a four-year apprenticeship in sheet metal work. He was employed by Vogt's Inc. and was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 60 (103) for over 40 years.

He married Paula. A Whitworth on January 14, 1967 in Inkom and they were sealed together in 1976 at the Idaho Falls Temple. Together, they were blessed with four children, eight grandchildren, and three-great-grandchildren, soon to be four.

He loved the outdoors and traveling with his sweetheart, though he thought that there was no better place on earth than home with his family. He was never happier than when they were all together at the same time in his backyard. The scouting program was extremely important to him and he was a scout master for Troop 327 for more than 20 years. He supported the American Red Cross by donating gallons of blood. He was also an avid squirrel hunter determined to rid the backyard of all its bushy tailed rodent inhabitants. But, his true joy and that which he cherished above all else was his family.

He is survived by his mother, Lois; his wife, Paula, and their children, Stacy (Laurel), JoLyn, Heather, and David (Amber); his brother Larry Larsen; two sisters, Tina Wheatley (Phil) and Diana Larsen; and many more who loved and adored him.

He is preceded in death by his father Lynden M. Larsen; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph E. Whitworth and Alta Melissa (Taysom) Whitworth.
And now we have one more Hero in heaven.
