Keanu’s beautiful soul arrived to earth on March 27, 1996. After graduating high school he said, “Sis, I want to help serve communities." He traveled to help better the world, from Idaho to Montana to Hawaii, all the way to New Zealand. And after seeing that much, Lava will always be his home.
No matter where he went, his heart shone through. He sought out all the world had to offer its blessings to the gift he knew life was. To feel my brother’s spirit was to know true love. On his many travels he built an extended family, we open our arms to and claim you all as our own.
Keanu participated in the Gate City Singers, Lava Zipline. Anything to help people and the community. He loved music and was able to teach himself how to play any instrument, it all started with a trombone. Anything he was interested in or wanted to do, he made it happen. Somehow, someway.
He is loved and adored by his Mom and Dad. He had a gentle soul and strong determined will. My brother always used to say, “You can’t change the world if you don’t start in your own backyard in your own community." Keanu was so loved by everyone who knew him.
Thank you to all for the support, prayers and donations to Keanu, a beautiful soul resting in serenity.
Keanu is survived by his Mother Lilia Romero, Father Eric Romero both of Pocatello, Idaho; sisters Cheyenne Lucio of Pocatello, Idaho and Tyra Lucio of Pocatello, Idaho. Keanu is preceded in death by his loving Grandma and Grandpa Lucio and Grandma and Grandpa Romero.
