Katrisha Shanell Hawkes

Katrisha Shanell Hawkes was born June 3, 1991 to Lydia Flores and Alfred Hawkes in Gillette, Wyoming.

Katrisha went to heaven Thursday, November 20, 2014.

Katrisha attended and graduated from New Horizons High School in Pocatello. She worked as a nursing assistant prior to having a beautiful baby girl named Shanel Breen; whom was the light in her eyes. She adored her daughter beyond word's description.

Katrisha loved being called "Baby Girl". She loved the Dallas Cowboys. She also loved camping and the company of her friends and family. And she liked it when her grandma called her "paino in the butto".

Katrisha really, really loved her little brother. There wasn't anything that she wouldn't do or share with Christian. And then there's Shanel, her little "Bugs". She was Katrisha's mini-me for sure. To look at Bugs, you will see Katrisha. She leaves a hole in the hearts of all who loved her, especially her Mom, brother and daughter. BABY GIRL, we will miss you, paino in the butto!

Katrisha leaves behind her daughter, Shanel; mother, Lydia Flores; brother, Christian Tyler Hawkes; Grandma Elna Gibbs; grandparents, Pat and Joe Flores of Gillette, WY; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a nephew on the way.

Katrisha was preceded in death by her father, Alfred Hawkes; Grandpa Harold Hawkes; and Auntie Rebbecca Flores.

A celebration of her life will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, November 28, 2014 at Shoshone Bannock Hotel and Events Center, I-15 Exit 80. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.wilksfuneralhome.com.
