Kathy Ricks

Kathy Ricks, 53 of Fort Hall passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at her home.

Kathy was born on October 25, 1961 to Darrow Francis and Christie (Elkington) Phillips in Idaho Falls. She grew up in Idaho Falls.

Kathy lived in Idaho, Washington and Oregon, and settled in Fort Hall in 1997. One of her greatest accomplishments was fulfilling her G.E.D. in 2000, which allowed her to complete an online mechanic certification program in 2002.

Kathy married Doyle Ricks in Nevada in 1996. They were inseparable and worked side by side in all they did.

Kathy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her hobbies were crocheting, embroidery and mechanics.

Her family wishes to extend their gratitude to their loyal friends, especially Niel Erickson, Mike at Pacific Recycling, and the Pocatello 44th Ward.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Doyle Ricks; children, Patricia Ann Gonzalez of California; Victor M. Phillips of Idaho; Cynthia Marie Gonzalez of Idaho; Tiffany C. Phillips of Idaho; siblings, Lynnita Frances Riddle; Timothy Kevin Phillips, Randy Evan Phillips; Janet Leigh Hilkemeyer; Greg (Lorna) Phillips; Michelle Phillips, and Michael (Michelle) Phillips.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Darrow Phillips; and mother, Christie Gordon.

Memorial services for Kathy will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday April 6, 2015 at the Pocatello 44th Ward LDS Chapel, Highway 91 in Fort Hall. Her arrangements are under the care and direction of Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road.
