Kathryn Eulene Redman
February 22nd 1944-September 18th 2021
People of Idaho, We regret to inform you of the passing of Kathryn Eulene Redman. Eulene was born to Henry and Veretta Haddenham on February 22nd 1944. Eulene was second to last in birth order. She had two older brothers and four sisters, three older and one younger.
Eulene grew up in Pocatello and eventually graduated from Pocatello High School in 1962. She married Lon Redman in 1965 and they had four daughters, Dayna, Roquel, and a set of twins that died shortly after birth and one son Jeremy.
Lon and Eulene divorced in 1980 and Eulene and the kids moved back to Pocatello.
In Pocatello, Eulene worked for Glen’s Chevrolet, Rick’s Mitsubishi, and Phil Meador Subaru where she managed Dollar rental car and Usave rentals. She loved to work and the people she worked with. She retired in 2006.
After taking many classes through community education, Eulene served on the Pocatello Community Education Board. Eulene served in various officer roles in the American Business Women Association.
Eulene loved to take care of people. Cooking something special for the guys at work or crocheting an Afghan for friends, loved ones, or just someone she thought was nice, was a favorite hobby of hers. She loved to bake goodies at the holidays, making her own chocolates, cookies, fudge and Chex mix. She also loved making Christmas ornaments, water coloring, stained glass, working in the yard and her flowers.
Eulene battled Alzheimer’s and spent her final years at Caring Hearts in the memory care facility.
Unfortunately, on September 18 2021 she got tired of working with all you lazy asses and passed away to avoid slapping the you know what out of you. That’s for everyone who knows our Ma.
Dayna, Roquel, and Jeremy would like to thank the staff at Caring Hearts especially Stephanie and Ashley and Dr. LaVonne Mills. You took care of Ma, and made sure she was safe and comfortable. Our sincere gratitude.
A celebration of life is being planned for a later date. Email euleneredman@gmail.com if you would like details as they become available.
