Katherine Tamez

Katherine Henderson-Tamez, passed away Saturday May 28, 2011 in Pocatello, Idaho. She was born May 18th 1976 in Ogden Utah to Edgar and Rose Henderson. Katherine graduated from Washington High School in 1994. On August 17th 1996, she married Jose Tamez in Ogden, Utah. Katherine lived in Ogden her whole life until moving to Pocatello where she attended the University of Idaho. Katherine loved to read, crochet and she especially loved her animals. She is survived by her mother of S. Ogden, two sisters, Michele Henderson, and Leslie Altamirano (Steve) and one brother Edgar Henderson; her grandmother Virginia Liptrap, all of S. Ogden; her husband Jose Tamez and stepchildren of Pocatello, her nieces and nephews that she loved dearly as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her father Edgar Henderson, grandparents Jim and Evelyn Henderson and a grandfather William Liptrap. Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 4, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Leavitt's Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden. Family will greet friends on Saturday from 1: 00-1:45 pm prior to the service. Interment in Aultorest Memorial Park.
