Katherine Olga Lake Clark, 73, passed away in a local care center July 13, 2016 after eight years of an extended illness in Pocatello, ID. She was born July 13, 1943, in Gooding, ID. She was blessed to be raised by two amazing parents, Mervin and Helen Lake. Katherine graduated from Pocatello High School in 1961 where she was a member of the Future Nurses of America (FNA) and Art Club. She also graduated from Practical Nurse Training and worked at St. Anthony Hospital in 1961. She was sealed to her sweetheart Dennis Call Clark on January 10, 1964, in the Idaho Falls Temple. On January 12, 1972 she received her Practical Nursing License in Utah. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed raising animals; horses, birds, dogs, and cats to name a few. She loved the outdoors and camping. She was a talented artist and enjoyed sketching. She is survived by three children, Michael (Kelly) Clark, Schuyler (Eva) Clark, and Heidi Clark; three grandchildren, Amanda (Tim) Judd, Chase (Beth) Clark, and Weston (Bailie) Clark; four great-grandchildren, Aubree, Taislee, Natalie, and Bailey; five siblings, Peggy (Merlin Larson), Lee Lake, JoAnne (Wally) Hancock, John (DeEtt) Lake, and Leslie Daniels. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one brother, Rex; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Lake. The family expresses a special thank you to Encompass Hospice and Safe Haven Hospital for their support and care. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 11 am at Colonial Funeral Home 2005, S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, ID, with a viewing for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at 3 pm at Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Ogden, Utah 84403.
