Katherine Lynn Churchill

April 26, 1965 — February 6, 2012

Katherine Lynn Churchill-Pierce of Blackfoot passed away early Monday, February 6th 2012 at Bingham Memorial Hospital of an unexpected illness.

Kathy was born April 26th 1965 to Sharon Nelson in Pittsburg, California, where she was raised. She was very active in school activities and was a Bluebird as a child. Kathy and Robert moved their family to Idaho in 1990 where they finally settled in Blackfoot. Kathy enjoyed arts and crafts, camping, 4-wheeling, traveling, and spending time with her family. Kathy enjoyed being active in the Lutheran Church and loved spending time with her horses and dogs Joe and Zoe. She would take them to McDonalds to gets treats. Kathy loved decorating her house and was always making changes to liven it up.

Kathy has left behind her loving companion, Robert Pierce of Blackfoot; her daughters, Jennifer Eubanks of Blackfoot; Jamie Churchill of Blackfoot; and Tiffanie (Robert) Ward of Pocatello; her mother, Sharon Nelson of Pittsburg California; sister, Shari Merrill of Martinez, California; and brother, Ronald J. (Betty) Nelson of Pittsburg, California; father in law, Jimmie (Pat) Pierce of Blackfoot; sister in law, Linda (Ben) Barnes of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; three grandchildren, Kendrick Eubanks, Hailey Boyack, and Brandi Pierce; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Kathy is preceded in death by her grandparents, Marlin and Martha Gruessing; her grandson, Joshua Ward; her mother in law, Lorraine Pierce; sisters in law; Shirley Pierce, Sandy Pierce and a nephew, Raymond Pierce.
