Karl (Carl) Wuthrich

Karl (Carl) Samuel Wuthrich returned home to his Father in Heaven surrounded by family on June 16, 2015 at the Portneuf Medical Center.

Karl was born May 14, 1932 in Montpelier ID to Ed and Maud Wuthrich. Growing up he was a star athlete and loved exploring Bear Lake with his siblings.

He joined the Navy in September of 1951 and snuck away during leave to marry the love of his life Pat Koeven August 31, 1952 and move her to San Francisco. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple. Their journey took them many places, from Oklahoma to Alaska.

Together they made a wonderful life, loving and providing for their children. Their home was always filled with joy and laughter.

Karl loved to camp, hunt, boat and fish. All of these things he especially loved to do with his family. His life was about his family, and he showed us that everyday.

He is welcomed home by his loving wife Pat and his son Robin, his parents, two brothers Marc and Earl, two sisters Cheryl and JeNeil, and granddaughter Anjelica. Remaining here to carry on his teachings of love are his daughters Heidi, Cindy, and Karen. His grandchildren are Kaeylyn and JP, children of Karen; Justin and Collett, Kristina, Kimberly and Ashley, children of Cindy and Dan Hoffman; Karl and Megan, Lisa, Bill and Bri, Kevin, Hollie and Luke, Robert and Heidi, Nancy and BJ, Michael, and Tino, children of Heidi and Bill Chandler, and 24 great-grandchildren that light up his life and loves dearly. Also all the dear friends that became family along the way.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 12:00PM at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road, with a viewing one and a half hours prior to the services.
