Karen Lee Dormier

Karen Lee (Sorensen) Dormier entered into eternal peace Saturday, January 25, 2014 surrounded by her family. Karen was born April 24, 1953.

She graduated from Highland High School in 1971. She worked as a Claims Adjuster at Farm Bureau and nothing gave her more joy than helping her clients get through their difficult times.
Karen has been an Elder at Central Christian Church for years. She dedicated her life to spreading and teaching the Word of the Lord. She loved to crochet and most that know her probably has something she crocheted for them.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jack Sorensen, Mary (Sorensen) Mattishaw, and her grandson Alec Kramer Eskelson. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her husband John Dormier; her son's father, Randy Jay Eskelson of Arizona; her son Randy Neil Eskelson and his wife Kimberly of Texas; her brother Jack Sorensen, her sister Kathie Sorensen, her step dad Pete Mottishaw, her step son Brian Dormier of Oregon, her step daughter Tamera Dormier of Hawaii, her grandchildren, Randy Richard and Riley Eskelson, Kendra Martinez, John Charels Dormier; her great grandchildren JoAnna and Mikey Martinez; and her beloved dogs JJ & Maddie.

Friends and family are welcome to celebrate Karen's life at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday February 1, 2014 at the Central Christian Church located at 918 E. Center Street in Pocatello. Lunch will be priveded immediately following the service. She will be buried close to her grandson and other in American Falls.
