Karen Sue Howell

Karen Sue Howell passed of natural causes on July 19,2024. She was born to Sam and Leona Williams on February 15, 1943 in Wendell Idaho.

She met Monte Howell in Basalt Idaho and they were married two weeks later in Elko Nevada. They moved to Pocatello and started their family. Mom helped dad with the family business and also worked at AMI/ON Semiconductors for many years. 

She loved summers, camping and fishing with friends and family’s at the Blackfoot Resevoir. And was a regular at bingo in Fort Hall. 

Mom and Dad were married for 61 years until dad’s passing in 2022. She is survived by her children Kirk, Stephanie and Doug, grandchildren Geno (Megan), and Andre Guerra, Jessica (Gregory) Barker, Monte Howell and Harley Howell and 5 great grandchildren. 

We want to thank the wonderful caregivers at The Gables and Heritage House for their care and support.
