Justin Eugene Christiansen

POCATELLO " Justin Eugene Christiansen, was born December 15th, 1967 and died January 25, 2010, He was 42 years old.

Justin was born in Downey, Idaho to Eric and Dianne (Harris) Christiansen. He grew up in Soda Springs, Idaho and graduated from Soda Springs High School in 1986.

Justin enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. in 1987 and was honorably discharged in 1990.

Justin married Michelle Loya in 1986 and they were blessed with two children, Shaela and Deric. They were later divorced. Justin then met his soul mate, Kathe McKay, they were married on October 22, 1998. They were also blessed with two children, Michael and Packer.

Justin loved the outdoors, especially elk hunting. He spent many hours helping friends locate and bag elk. He also loved to hunt, fish, and camp with his family. He also enjoyed horn hunting to collect the antlers to make light fixtures and other furniture items. Justin never hesitated to help anyone, no matter the time of day. He was truly a man's man and a Marine to the core. He will be fully missed and will never realize the impact he had on so many during his short time here on Earth. Once a Marine, always a Marine, HOORAH!

Justin is survived by his wife, Kathe Christiansen; children, Shaela (Patrick Hillaker) Christiansen; Deric (Brittany) Christiansen; Michael Christiansen; Packer Christiansen; parents, Eric and Dianne Christiansen; three brothers, Scott (Tanna) Christiansen; Matt (Stephanie) Christiansen; Darryl Humberg; and 3 ½ grandchildren, Jeric Christiansen, Drayden Christiansen, Dallas Christiansen, and one on the way; and grandmothers, Lena Christiansen, and Lois Harris.

Justin was preceded in death by his grandfathers, John Christiansen and Eugene Harris; and a cousin, Jason Jones.
