Judy Ann Mcgary

Judy Ann McGary , 62, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, September 25, 2018. She was born in Pocatello, Idaho, to George Alfred Misner and Kady Armstrong Misner. She was the sixth of nine children. On August 16, 1980, she married George McGary in the beautiful Scout Mountain area on a wonderful rainy day. They were blessed with two beautiful boys. Judy grew up and attended schools in Pocatello. She graduated from Highland High School in 1974. She escaped/retired from Lamb-Weston/ConAgra Foods in American Falls, Idaho after 40 years of servitude. Judy is survived by her two sons, Tyler (Ashley) of Chubbuck, Idaho and Jordan of Pocatello, Idaho; granddaughter, Julie; grandson, Gotham; sisters, Leah (Gary) Curtis, Pocatello, Idaho, Linda (Kenny) Wright, Pocatello, Idaho, Sandy, Boise, Idaho, and Deanna (Mike) Brennan, Pocatello, Idaho; brother, Richard, Pocatello, Idaho; many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly and loved her in return; and three precious pups that were always nearby Bella, Beau and Chewie. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George; both of her parents; her sister, Barbara Firkins; and her brothers, Larry and Jay Misner. Judy was very funny and enjoyed time with her friends and family including the first day of summer picnic and designated holiday events. She welcomed the friends of her children, nieces and nephews for any family event or holiday celebration and treated them as one of her own. In turn, she also had many friends that were "adopted" over the years and became family. A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S 4th Ave, Pocatello, Idaho, with a graveside service to follow starting at 3 p.m. at Mountain View Cemetery, 1520 S 5th Ave, Pocatello, Idaho, 83204.
