Judith "Judie" Summerill

Judith “Judie” Summerill was born on February 4, 1943 in Ogden Utah, the only daughter of James and Verda Faulkner.

She graduated from Ogden Highschool in 1961. While there, she met her sweetheart Stephen Summerill and they were married for time and all eternity in the Logan, Utah Temple on September 20, 1962.

After starting their family in Utah, they moved to Pocatello in November of 1977 where they raised 6 children, ran a business and developed many friendships. Her greatest joy was raising her children and taking care of her home and yard.

She loved being with her family and traveling to Disney World and Arizona. She had a contagious smile and a knack for making you feel like you were her favorite.

She passed peacefully at home with her family by her side on January 10, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her Parents James & Verda Faulkner & Granddaughter Heidi Summerill Tobler.

She is survived by her Husband Stephen Edward Summerill, Daughters Heidi (Jack) Plett, Robyn Summerill, Kimberly (Torrey) Hymas, Holly (Joshua) Choules and Sons, Christian (Dani) Summerill, and Shaun (Tanielle) Summerill. She had 16 grandchildren & 8 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her only brother Robert (Debra) Faulkner.

The family would like to thank the staff of Heritage Home Health and Hospice, Wilks Funeral Home, and Friends and Family Home Care for their love and support over the past several months.

A gathering for friends to visit with family will be held from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Friday January 21, 2022 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road Chubbuck, Idaho. A graveside service will follow beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Mountain View Cemetery, 1520 S. 4th Avenue Pocatello, Idaho.
