JoAnne VanLeuven, 78, passed away on November 30, 2018. JoAnne was born on April 21, 1940 in Logan, UT. She was the second of 3 daughters born to Robert and Laura Finch. JoAnne grew up in Pocatello where she graduated from Pocatello High School. She then went to Ricks College and Carroll College to obtain her RN degree. Later she attended Idaho State University and received a BS degree in Nursing. She worked at Bannock Hospital in Pocatello for many years as a cancer nurse. She retired in 2002. JoAnne married Delbert Eugene and was the mother of 2 children and 5 step-children. She was later divorced. JoAnne enjoyed reading, watching Hallmark movies, spending time with her family and eating and sharing jelly beans. She loved helping others. JoAnne was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; where she held various callings. Visiting teaching was her favorite calling. JoAnne is survived by her sister, Bobette Finch, Pocatello, ID; son, Allen VanLeuven, Prineville, Oregon, son, Kevin VanLeuven, Prineville, Oregon, son, Clayton VanLeuven, American Falls, ID, son, Kelly VanLeuven, Pocatello, ID, daughter, Teresa Martin, Pocatello, ID, son, Robert VanLeuven, Pocatello, ID; 20 grandchildren and 57 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Laura Finch; father, Robert Finch; sister, Diane Feltman; and son, Tracy VanLeuven. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 1 pm at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 2864 S. 5 th Ave. Pocatello, ID with a viewing prior from 12-1 pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, ID.
