Joanne T. Healy

POCATELLO- Joanne Healy, 78, passed away at the home of her daughter on Wednesday, January 19, 2011.
Joanne was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 5, 1932 to Leslie and Wilhelmina (Candreva) Halloran, where she grew up.
She moved from Illinois 7 years ago to live with her daughter in Pocatello, Idaho. She has lived with her daughter and has had the opportunity to create a loving relationship with her daughter's family.
She married George Paul Healy, Jr., at age 17. They raised a family of six children together. She moved to Pocatello after his passing.
Joanne was an avid reader and especially enjoyed mystery novels. She also enjoyed traveling and engaging in intellectual discussions. She loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Joanne had a wonderful sense of humor that she loved to share.
Joanne is survived by her son; Pat (Mary) Healy of Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter; Wendy (Jim) Pollitz of Ukiah, California, daughter; Lesley Cook of Sterling, Illinois, daughter; Kathleen (Richard) Nichols of Pocatello, Idaho, son; John Healy of Michigan City, Illinois, daughter; Christine (Jim) Micheals also of Michigan City, Illinois, and 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband; George, parents; Leslie and Wilhelmina, infant son; Brian Healy, and brothers; Bob and Jim Halloran.
