Joann Robinson Edwards

JoAnn Edwards was born on October 23, 1947 in Pocatello, Idaho and passed away on November 19, 2020.

She was born to Ora Robinson and Elizabeth Frasure Robinson and grew up on a farm in Tyhee. She was the youngest of 5 children. She attended Pocatello schools, graduating from a brand new Highland High School in 1966. She married Jeffrey Kent Edwards on January 13, 1967. They had 3 children - Jeffrey Kirk, Melinda Sue and Ronnie William. She was a homemaker for many years until she took a position at AMI Semiconductor.

In her younger years, she loved to go camping with her family. She also loved fishing - as long as she didn't have to touch the fish or the worm.

JoAnn loved her family dearly. She loved being home, watching TV and doting on her pets. Besides her family, one of the things JoAnn was most proud of was the fact that she donated one of her kidneys to her brother, Austin in 1985.

She is survived by her daughter Melinda (Shelley), her son Ronnie (Jeanette), and Heather Edwards; Grandsons Jeffrey (Sydney), Joshua (Candice), Jeremiah (Madi) and Jacob (Nikki) Edwards; Cashell (Cory) Norton; Dallas, Carson, Brooklyn Edwards; Tiffani (Tony) Bruderer, Madi Betty, Hunter Betty and Jaycee Turner. Great Grandsons Jackson, Jameson, Jefferson, Braxton, Quinton, Brantly, Howie, David, Justin and Canyon and was looking forward to more on the way.

She is also survived by her brothers: Henry (Joan), Austin (Jackie), Clyde (Marci) Robinson; In-laws Bill (Valynn) Underwood, Dee Underwood, Cindy (Mitch) Wilson and Cheri (Larry) Dekker and Don Thompson as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and mother-in-law Dorothy Underwood; husband Jeffrey Kent Edwards, her son Jeffrey Kirk Edwards; sister Bonnie Thompson; Nephews Jerry and Jeff Robinson and a great-granddaughter Adalynn James Bruderer.

Graveside services will be at Mountain View Cemetery Monday, November 23 at 2:00pm.
