Jimmie Ray Pierce of Moreland, Idaho, age 86, passed away June 29, 2017 in his home of natural causes.

Jimmie was born February 5, 1931 in Ozark, Arkansas, to Millard and Bessie Pierce.
He married Lorraine Fournier; they were the parents of six wonderful children and had been married for 52 years when she passed away in 2003.
Jimmie drove trucks for 45 years, he loved to trade cars, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family.

Jimmie is survived by his sons, Jack (Sherry) Pierce, of Downey; Alan (Susan) Pierce, of McCammon; son-in-law, Benny Barnes of Bonners Ferry; sister, Patsy Moncrief of Prarie Grove, Arkansas; 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his partner of the last 13 years, Patricia Grimmett.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents, Millard and Bessie Pierce; wife, Lorraine Pierce; son, Robert Pierce; daughters, Linda Barnes; Shirley Pierce; and Sandra Fisher.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, July 3, 2017 at Mountain View Cemetery, (section 3 West) 1540 So. 5th Avenue, Pocatello, with Bishop Merritt Van Orden of the Moreland 4th Ward conducting.
