Jimmie "Jim" Charles Siler, 65 of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away, Tuesday May 14, 2019.
Jim was born January 29, 1954 in Pocatello, Idaho to Jess and Joan (Getty) Siler. He graduated from Highland High School in 1972. On November 28, 1975 he married Carla Clark of Pocatello, ID. He worked as a Union Pipefitter out of Local 648 Pocatello Idaho retiring in 2009.
Hanging out in Island Park was his passion loving most the fall season for hunting of elk and deer. The winter season was spent riding snowmobiles with his family. Spring and summer was time for 4-wheeling, hiking and enjoying the great outdoors. RV-Camping with family, checking out the mountain tops and sitting around the campfire was a must. He visited all the National Parks west of the Missouri River. He was also talented at building a cabin, house and many outbuildings. Jim a Denver Broncos die-heart fan enjoyed reading, and was the go to computer person.
Jim is survived by his wife, Carla Siler of Blackfoot, ID; his three children, Troy Charles Siler (Kristen) of Pocatello, ID; Andrew Clark Siler of Blackfoot, ID; Heather Christine Warren (Eric) of Rathdrum, ID; three beautiful grandchildren; two brothers, Jon (Nancy) Christiansen of McCammon, ID; and Joe (Debbie) Siler in Oregon. He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Jan; and a brother, JC.
A celebration of life will be held later in June on Friday 28, 2019, at 6 PM at Calvary Chapel Blackfoot, 689 S Fisher St. in Blackfoot, Idaho. Family will meet Saturday, June 29th at 9:00 a.m. at the Grove City Cemetery, in Blackfoot then travel to Island Park for his final resting send off.
