Jetta Nadine Smith, 80, passed away on November 7, 2022, in Pocatello, Idaho.
She was born on March 6, 1942, to Mable Anne and Ned Lewis, and was raised in both McCammon and Salmon.
Jetta married Wayne Norton on June 3, 1961, but they later divorced. She then married Morgan Smith on November 13, 1982, and he preceded her in death. Jetta then enjoyed the companionship of Gary Howell, a dear and trusted friend.
Jetta enjoyed camping, fishing, and was known to make the best fried chicken around. She also enjoyed bingo at the Fort Hall Casino, loved helping people, got involved at the Senior Center, and liked riding horses.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents as well as siblings Eddie, Marlin, Ronnie, Velma, and Dorris.
Jetta is survived by her daughter Marie Bradley (Terry Rosen); sister Alice Parks; brother Bub Jensen; grandchildren Julia Stoor, Steven Norton (April Anderson), Jetta Nelson, and Shane (McKenzie) Nelson; great grandchildren Nicholas, Nathaniel, and Noah; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Her family would like to express their gratitude for those at Heritage Home Health & Hospice, the Wound Center at Portneuf Medical Center, and the friends at the Pocatello Senior Center who cared for and offered kindness and friendship to Jetta.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
