Jesse Schurz

Jesse Schurz, 40, passed away on December 21, 2022, in Phoenix, Arizona.

Jesse was born in Orem, Utah to Larry Schurz and Janet Schurz. He grew up in Orem until about 6 yrs old when the family moved to Salt River, Az.

Jesse lived in the Phoenix metro area for 32 years obtaining his Associate's in Business Management, Bachelor's in Business Management and Bachelor's in Business Administration. He worked for the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community for 12 years before retiring due to health conditions. Friends and family always remember his warm smile and natural nature of welcoming everyone into his life.

He was a strong advocate for those with disabilities in his community and never walked away from challenges set before him. He is survived by his parents Larry Schurz and Janet Schurz, brothers Joseph and Jacob, sisters Collette and Natalie and 4 nephews and 7 nieces and his fur child Obi the cat.

A viewing will take place on January 3rd at 10 am - 11 am at Wilks Funeral Home in Pocatello, ID (2005 S 4th Avenue). Burial services will take place immediately after the viewing, approximately 11:30 am at Mountain View Cemetery in Pocatello.
