Jesse Daniel Sistrunk

Jesse Daniel Sistrunk, 14, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014 due to injuries sustained in an accident. Jesse was born on May 22, 2000 to Shane and Meri Lyn Sistrunk. He was a lifelong resident of Pocatello and attended Jefferson Elementary and Irving Middle School. Jessie had many interests and loved to be out doors. He loved camping, fishing, hiking, BMX bike riding, and dirt bike riding. He loved sports and playing football and basketball. He also had a love for longboarding, skateboarding, and video games. He loved playing night games, hanging out with his many friends, and spending time with his family. Jesse was a Christian. Jesse was happy and full of life. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his Parents, Shane and Meri Lyn Sistrunk, Pocatello; Sister and Brother- in-Law, Sheila (Jessy) King, Pocatello; Grandparents, Caryn & Fred Sistrunk, Pocatello, and Ron & Elaine Beyeler, Pocatello; numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. He was preceded in death by his Grandma, Christine Heer; Great-Grandparents, Gordon & Joan Sparks, Vernon & Erma Harris, and Cousin, Jenni Lake. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 11 AM at Colonial Funeral Home 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, ID. 208-233-1500. Family will receive friends Tuesday evening, May 27, 2014 from 6-8 PM and again Wednesday morning from 10-11 AM before services at Colonial Funeral Home.
