Jerry Lon Jensen

April 23, 1957 — January 12, 2022

Jerry Jensen was called home on January 12, 2021. He was born on April 23, 1957 to Joyce Graham. He was adopted by Wallace Jensen in 1959. He spent most of his childhood learning to tinker with cars and cause trouble while living with Granny and Grandpa Graham in Big Sky.

He attended Highland High School until he enlisted in the US Marine Corp in 1976. He was honorably discharged in 1978. He spoke of his service fondly and truly enjoyed the men he met during his enlistment.

In 1979, he married Marsha Bellon. They had 2 children and later divorced.

He married Deanna Edwards in 1991. He spent his time raising a family, working as the best mechanic in town and then later as the friendliest delivery driver in Idaho and Utah, and loving many foster children and adopted pets.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 30 plus years, Deanna Jensen, sister Mary (Jeff) Wakley, brother Scott (Shawna) Graham, sons Lonnie Jensen, Christopher Edwards, and Cody (Alain) Edwards. Daughters Randi (Kevin) Neilson and Dezirae Gilgen. His greatest treasures were his grandchildren, Talise, Tyler, Summer, Kya, Kevin, Leana, and Morgan, as well as many nieces, nephews, foster children, friends, and beloved pets.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Baby, Charlie, and Diamond Lily.

Jerry will always be remembered as a man with a huge heart. He tried to hide his caring and trickster-like personality with a gruff exterior. We all knew better. Good try Pappy.
