Jerry Allen Bales, 62, passed away January 23, 2009 at a local medical center. He was born to William Bales and Eva Marie (Bressler) Bales January 26, 1946 in Pocatello, Idaho. He had three brothers, Harold Bales, Lyle Bales and Billy Bales and three sisters, Jean (Bales) Christensen, Dorrine (Bales) Wood and Delvene (Bales) White. Jerry attended elementary school in Pocatello, Idaho. He grew up on Jason Street where he and his brothers and sisters rode bikes, climbed mountains, played marbles and walked to the Sunset Drive Inn to watch movies; anything for fun. As Jerry grew up he enjoyed the outdoors, hunting fishing, camping and especially his family. Jerry was very mechanical. He loved to work on old cars and trucks. He also liked playing the lottery. Jerry had a few jobs growing up, but eventually got a job at Simplots where he retired from after 30 years. Jerry was married three times and divorced. He had three children, Allen, Michael and Milissa; one grandchild, Trisann. He is survived by his children and grandchild, a brother, Billy Bales and sister, Delvene Bales White. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Harold and Lyle Bales, sisters, Jean Bales Christensen and Dorrine Bales Wood. Jerry was an extremely likeable guy. We will sadly miss our conversations over cups of coffee and we hope there
