Jennifer Ann Christensen, 33, passed away May 16, 2011 from complications of a major stroke Jennifer was born in Salt Lake City, UT, on April 24, 1978. She attended schools in Pocatello. Edahow Elementary, Indian Hills Elementary and graduated from Pocatello High School in 1996. She was in Gate City Singers, National Honor Society, and Drama. She attended Idaho State University for three years and was working on her degree in massage therapy. Jennifer married Shane Siler in 1997. They had three beautiful children, John, Samuel, and Melody. They were later divorced Jennifer loved to sing, play her guitar, scrapbooking, and photography. She married Darren Christensen on June 24, 2010. She was currently employed by Allied Family Services as a Developmental Therapist and Service Coordinator Assistant, working with children with disabilities. Jennifer was a very talented and creative person and loved to travel with her family and explore new places. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is survived by her husband Darren Christensen, sons John and Sam, daughter Melody, step-son Spencer, step-daughter Abby, mother Mary McKnight, step father Kelvin McKnight, father Paul Beckstead, step-mother Pam Beckstead, sister Tammy of Lehi, Utah, and sister Dr. Jamie Fairchild (Brayden), sister and Brayden of Blackfoot, Id.875f A memorial service will be held in her honor, Saturday, May 21, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the LDS 18th Ward Chapel on the corner of Hawthorne and Eldredge. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 20, 2011, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4th Ave, and also one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.
