Remembering Dad

Jeffery Craig Winegar was born to parents Richard Vaughan Winegar and Carol Ann Wood on the frigid day of December 25th, 1968. He moved from Driggs to Pocatello in 1979. He had two sisters Julie Ann And Kimberly Rae Winegar and he was the middle child out of the 2 siblings. He went to Tetonia Elementary from 1st grade to 5th grade then Alameda Middle School for 6th Grade then went to Highland High School for 4 years. He loved being in the water everything from splashing in mud to swimming to going fishing with his Grandpa wood. Jeff loved music and was in a band and played guitar(acoustic or bass) or and the drums. He loved fried chicken from Ridley’s and pizza from Papa John’s. He liked the older classic rock bands, like Dio, Metallica, and Iron Maiden. Jeff had four kids; Shayna Elizabeth Winegar (2000), Jordan Craig Winegar (2001), Jessica Renee Winegar (2002) and Dylan Jacob Winegar (2005) with wife Charity Alicia Ross. He and Charity separated in 2006 and officially divorced in 2012. Jeff had 3 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. Jeff wrote songs, poetry and drew. He was a strong and stubborn man with a lot of love in his heart and never gave up no matter what life threw at him. He was a proud and devoted Christain and believed that the true Church of Jesus Christ was a personal relationship with God. Jeff had a kind heart and a damn good sense of humor, even if it was dark humor at times. Jeff was protective of those he loved… Dad fell in love with his current girlfriend Linda Wiltrout in 2024 and had proposed to her before his passing. It was very clear how much they loved each other and how much he loved us and his family…

We will miss you dad and we hope that wherever you are that you’re raising hell and playing guitar with Legend Artists.

A special thanks to those who donated for his services and want to be there to celebrate our Dad’s life with us kids. ❤
