Jeffery A. Carlson

Jeffrey A. Carlson, 61, passed away peacefully, Saturday, June 9, 2012 at his home following an extended illness.

Jeff was born August 11, 1950 at Pocatello. He attended Pocatello High School and graduated in 1968. He then joined the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas in 1973. After his military career ended in 1979, Jeff attended Idaho State University. He earned a degree in Health Care Administration with a Bachelor of Science in 1983. Jeff belonged to the Idaho State University Alumni. He worked at Lab Corp for 20 years.

Jeff married Cindy and they had two children, Reggie (Pocatello, Idaho) and Dottie (Phoenix, Arizona). After their marriage ended, he met Terri Copeland with whom he shared 33 years of love and romance. Terri finally agreed to marry Jeff in 2009.

Jeff enjoyed fishing, camping, and golf and was especially good at sports. He loved spending time with his friends whether it was at the grocery store or any fishing hole. He was surrounded by friends everywhere that he went.

Jeff is survived by his wife Terri, son Reggie (Laura) Carlson, daughter Dottie (David) Diaz, daughter Jackie (Mitch) Babb, son Chad (Brooke) Copeland, brother Mike (Laurie) Carlson, sister Chris (Larry) Fernau and many precious nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jeff was preceded in death by his father Leonard Harry Carlson and his mother Peggy Louise Martz.
