Pocatello - Jeanie C. Orton, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011, at her apartment, due to a heart attack. She was born April 7, 1979 in Pocatello, Idaho to Cheryl Jean Orton and James Leon Peron. She attended school at Chubbuck Elementary, Tyhee Elementary, Hawthorne Jr. High, Highland High School and graduated from St. Anthony, Idaho High School in 1998. She was born with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and endured many complications that effected her physical, as well as mental health. Even with her disability, she worked at various jobs and was a loving soul with a giving heart. Despite her need for independence, she received lots of help from family, friends and professionals. She always loved visiting with her friends and she truly loved her aunts, uncles, and cousins and the rest of her family. She will leave a sizeable hole in this world and will be missed by so many. Her family will be eternally grateful for all the love and support she has been shown throughout her life. Jeanie was cared for in the first four years of her life by her grandparents, Sandra Lemmon and Kenneth Orton of Pocatello, ID. She was adopted with her sister Jennifer, into their family at that time. Jeanie is survived by her son, Oryon; biological parents Jim Peron of Atkins, AR and Cheryl Jean Orton of Lincoln, NB; sisters, Jennifer D. Orton of Pocatello, ID and Amanda Peron of Atkins, AR. Her other siblings, Bo, Raina and Alyssa, whereabouts unknown; brothers, Kent (Tammy) Orton of Meridian, ID, Paul Orton of Jonesville, LA and Robert Orton of Pocatello, ID. She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Eugene and Shirley Lemmon; Ida Luker and Frank Beebe and her aunt Kaylene Orton. A Gathering for friends and family will be held at the Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 Av., Pocatello, ID on Monday Feb. 7, 2011 at 1:00 pm, followed by a short service at 2:00 pm. Her ashes will be buried at Mountain View Cemetery location of burial is Section 24 West, Row 23, Space 6.
