Jason Romney Hawkins

July 11, 1984 — July 18, 2023

Jason Romney Hawkins was born on July 11, 1984, in Payson, Utah. Subsequently, he was often called “Jason from Payson”.

Jason was raised in Pocatello, Idaho and graduated from Highland High School. He then served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Nashville, Tennessee. After his mission, he attended BYU Idaho and ultimately graduated with a degree in Business Management.

On August 2, 2008, Jason married his sweetheart, Kimberly Lyle Earl, in the Salt Lake Temple.

He enjoyed dirt biking, boating, fishing, and being in the mountains. He always had an adventure planned and knew how to bring people together.

Jason was a devoted son who regularly visited and spent time with his parents. His siblings couldn’t have asked for a better big brother and are grateful for all the love and support he gave them. He was an amazing father who loves his wife Kim and children Ben, Allie, and Lucy, above all else.

Jason is universally loved and will be missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Charles and Olive Hawkins, and a nephew, James Tai Chuon.

Jason is survived by his wife, Kimberly Hawkins; son Benjamin Hawkins; daughters Allison and Lucy Hawkins; parents Kent and Maureen Hawkins; siblings Jamie (Tyler) Boyd, Kevin (Stephanie) Hawkins, Lindsay (Parker) Thomas, and Whitney Hawkins; and grandparents William and Judith Romney.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 24, 2023, at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road, Chubbuck, Idaho.
