Jared Alan Hale

December 12, 1983 — August 8, 2010

Pocatello " Jared Alan Hale, 26, loving husband to Mandie S. Hale, and proud father of Madelyne May, Alisa Dawn, and Lane G. passed away the afternoon of Sunday, August 8th, 2010 in a very unfortunate accidental drowning. Jared was born on December 12th, 1983, at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah to his parents, Bradly and Julie Hale. He attended Sunset Elementary School in Sunset Utah, and then moved with his family to Pocatello, Idaho where he attended Hawthorne Junior High, and then Highland High School. He received his G.E.D. in 2002.
Jared married his school sweetheart and best friend on June 30th, 2001 in Grace Idaho with the blessing of the brides' parents, Roy and Julie Beard of Pocatello, Idaho. He joined the Army Reserve 10-16th unit in 2002, and was a Veteran of Iraq, spending much of his deployment stationed at camp Cedar. Jared was an active volunteer of Pocatello POW*MIA Awareness Association and participated in their events and mission regularly. He was currently an employee of Agrium Conda Phosphate Operations in Soda Springs, Idaho and enjoyed his job and co-workers very much.
His friends and family best describe him as a very active and fun person. It was very rare to see him standing still for anytime at all. He was first to start, and last to stop. Some of his favorite recreational activities included carpentry, hunting, fishing, camping, pretty much anything that got him outside, and of course turning wrenches and tinkering with his brothers. Anyone that knew Jared knew he loved having fun, but his first priority was always his wife and children.
Jared is survived by all persons listed above, his sister, Marla Kay Bailey and her husband Lamont of Woods Cross, UT, his sister JoAnne Duke and her husband Don of Ogden, UT, his brother Bradly Ross Hale, and his wife Laura of Pocatello, ID, and his sister Angela Dawn Frazier and her husband Michael of Layton, UT. Jared is joined in death by his loving big brother and friend Aaron Jeff Hale.
The family is inviting friends to an open viewing from 6-9pm, Thursday, August 12th, 2010 at Wilks Funeral Home located at 211 W Chubbuck Rd., Chubbuck, ID. The funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, August 13th at Calvary Chapel on 1633 Olympus Drive, Pocatello, ID., with a grave side service to follow at the Mountain View Cemetery across from Upper Ross Park.
In lew of flowers/gifts, the family has set up a trust fund account for Jared's surviving children at Citizens Community Bank, 2000 Flandro Dr., Pocatello, ID under “Jared's Memorial Fund.”
