Janet Marie Harris

On January 28, Marie Harris passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family and close friends.

Marie was born on October 10, 1949 to Clifford and Janet Gambill in American Falls, Idaho. she was raised in Aberdeen and educated there. She married Rick Harris in 1966 and they had three children. They were later divorced.

Marie grew up with her nieces Peggy, Diane, Debbie and Linda as her siblings were all older than she by a ways. She really enjoyed spending time with Bonadyn, Judy and Sandi and called themselves the hens. She worked at spud harvest and she managed a McDonald's for many years before going to work as office manager for Thompson Distributing.

Marie is survived by her two sisters Maxine Lantor and Elva Malin; one brother Marvin Gambill; her children, Kristina Lenneman, Paulette (Brandon) Zahm and Clifford (Lottie) Harris; her grandchildren, Stephanie Lennenman, Kyle Klassen, Abby Harris, grandchildren by marriage, Tiffany, Mercedes, Alexis, Ashley, and Brandon; and four great grandchildren.

Marie was known for her kind and loving nature. She was always willing to help take care of everyone around her. She loved playing games, doing puzzles, crocheting, making crafts, joking around, laughing and spending time with her beloved family and friends whom will miss dearly. A special thanks to her friend Irene who supported and helped until the end.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday February 4, 2017 at Rocky Mountain Ministries, 845 Hyde Avenue, Pocatello. There will be a potluck to follow from 12:00-3:00 at the LDS church at 930 E. Alameda, Pocatello.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to God's Home of Compassion or the Idaho Food Bank. A memorial services will also be held in the spring.
