Janet Lloyd

POCATELLO - A gentle soul has found a new body. Janet Louise Griffin Lloyd passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at her home. She is the daughter of Lewis Eugene and Margaret Griffin. Jan and her husband, John Lloyd (deceased) together built their log cabin home in Fairplay, Colorado. Jan was a heavy equipment operator and was a "darn good Cat Skinner." Jan was a thoughtful person and a lover of all animals. She loved her friend and pet bird, Charlie. Jan is survived by her parents, Gene and Marg Griffin; brother, Rob and Julie Griffin; sister, Annie and Michael Deuell; brother, Ray and Jessica Griffin; nephew, Brian and Chandra Griffin and Will Griffin; nieces, Jaimey Griffin and Dawn Cavanaugh. Jan was a strong supporter of the Bannock County Humane Society. Memorial services will be held tentatively in the chapel at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. Fourth Ave., on Saturday, March 10 at 10 a.m.
