Janet Hoke

Janet Jean Hoke, 68, of Rigby and formerly of McCammon, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2013, at her home with her daughters by her side. She was born on May 7, 1944, in Pocatello, to Rex and Velma Boren, the oldest daughter of 11 children. Janet met and married Paul Hoke in 1961. Together they had 4 children: Paula, DeLinda, Paul, DellRae. They were later divorced. Janet lived in McCammon for 30 years where she cared for her son Paul until his death. She loved gardening and anything outdoors. She was her own handyperson, she worked on her own place and even enjoyed getting her own firewood. She is survived by her daughter DeLinda (Gary) Hall of Idaho Falls; daughter DellRae (Jon) Heyrend of Rigby; brother Sherell Boren of Texas; brother Kent (Bobbie) Boren of Arizona; sister Janele (Jack) Clegg of Arizona; brother Bruce (Marsha) Boren of Idaho Falls; sister DeNiece Boyer of Pocatello; sister Lorelie (Dale) Bair of Utah; brother Kirk Boren of Idaho Falls; brother Rex Boren of Pocatello; grandchildren Timothy (Alaine) Arnold, Kristina (Josh) Hart, Jessica (Ed) Arias, Sylvia (Tim) Wakeman, Niki Hall, Lacey (Preston) Fransen, Stevie (Jake) Robinette, Danielle (Cody) Likes, Tyler Howard, Kimberly Howard, Jordan Heyrend, Jenner Heyrend, Julia Heyrend, Jaynie Heyrend, Jace Heyrend; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, her son Paul, daughter Paula, and 2 sisters. A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at the Norton Cemetery in McCammon.
