Jan Savard

Jan Savard, 55, passed away unexpectedly February 17th. She was born January 2nd, 1965 to Elden and Georgia Reynolds in Downey, Id. She grew up the youngest of three children, in the Tyhee area and later in Marsh valley.
She married in 1983, to Paul Savard and moved to Alameda California. They had two children, a boy, Forrest and a girl Anna. They later divorced and Jan moved back to Idaho where she lived and raised her kids as well as being a mom to her boyfriend Greg Fosters daughter, Dwana, until they separated. She worked for several years at Poppa Pauls' restaurant, where she forged many great friendships and acquaintances.
She was smart, funny and witty and loved a great practical joke. She loved her yard, and had the best in her neighborhood with ponds, fish and beautiful flowers and plants. She loved her kids and her grandchildren also. She was the caretaker of the family who took care of our parents in their golden years and her family as well. Most of all she was not only my sister but my best friend. She loved her cats, and her little dog, Biscuit, who miss her terribly.
As per her request she was cremated and the family will hold a celebration of her life at a later time.
She was preceded in death by her parents Elden and Georgia and a baby sister.
She is survived by her sister, brother and children, Forrest, Anna and grandchildren, Georgia, Steven, Bridgette and Trinity.
