Jacquelyn K. Harmon was called home and reunited with her loved ones on January 23, 2025. She was born on October 15, 1938 in Idaho Falls. She was raised in Idaho Falls, Idaho and was married to Gordon Harmon in the Idaho Falls temple on June 20, 1958. They went on to have four children.
Throughout her life, Jacquelyn was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in numerous positions in the church and had a strong testimony of the gospel.
Superheroes wear capes and have special powers. Our mom was a superhero mom. She had many super powers. She was at football games, baseball games or anything she knew was important to her children (it became important to her) and did as much as she could for her grandkids even traveling out of state. Our mom also loved doing word searches and you often found her with a book and pencil. She also enjoyed crocheting, knitting and making quilts for all her kids and grandkids. She always made sure we had what we needed and if she could, what we wanted. She would do things with us to be with us like shopping which was never her favorite. Her favorite trip was when we were able to go to Walt Disney World as a whole family many years ago. She loved sharing that experience with her kids and grandkids at the time, speed walking her way through it.
Our mom was warm, caring and sometimes quiet. She was an unbelievably strong woman and a very hard worker. She supported her husband, kids and grandkids with all her heart. We each will miss something special about her from her special crackers and french toast to just how she was. She has left an incredible legacy. Heaven gained an incredible angel and she will be dearly missed.
Jacquelyn was preceded in death by her mother and father, Melvin and Wilma Fielding, sister, Judy Craig, husband, Gordon Harmon, and foster son, Joseph Wilson.
She is survived by her children, Doug (Kerry) Harmon, Carol (Michael) Hepworth, Brian (Lisa) Harmon, and Nickole (Lou) Montoya. She left 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
