Jacob Johnson

Our beloved Jacob passed away on Friday September 9, 2016 from a recent illness. He was born to Lesli (Osorio) and Charles Johnson in Pocatello on July 11, 1983.

Jacob graduated from Century High School where he was proud to be an offensive linemen on the 2001 State Championship Football Team. Jacob went on to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Education at Idaho State University in 2006. It was his plan to continue his education in the nursing field. Jacob had a love of sports including football, basketball, weightlifting, and overall fitness. He had great compassion for others, most recently working as a Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Specialist with children struggling from behavioral issues.

Jacob is preceded in death by his hero and grandfather, R. Gene Bailey. He is survived by his mother, Lesli J. Osorio, father, Charles Johnson, step-father, Carlos Osorio, grandmother, Carol A. Bailey, step-sister, Catherine Rodriguez (Jovan), brother, Andrew S. Johnson (Julie), niece, Bailey M. Johnson, nephew, Brayden A. Johnson in addition to aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A casual celebration of life will be held for family and friends at Centennial Park in Pocatello on Friday September 16, 2016 at 4:30pm.
