Jacob Arnold

d. December 31, 2013

Jacob McLane Arnold, our beloved son, brother and uncle, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013, following a tragic vehicle accident. He was 21. Jacob was born September 3 rd 1992 to Brett and Marla Arnold in Pocatello, ID. He was the youngest of three children. He attended school at Tendoy, Green Acres, Irving, and graduated from Century High School. He enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing, taking several trips with his dad and brother. He also loved spending time with his chocolate lab, Moose. Growing up Jake played many sports including football, basketball, track, and wrestling, where he was city and state champion in 2007. Jake's passion was baseball. At 12 years old, with his dad as his coach, the Pocatello Wildcats Super League team traveled to Cooperstown, NY, where they played on the "Field of Dreams." Jake continued playing through high school while attending Century H.S. and then the American Legion. After graduating from high school Jake continued to play softball. Jake was the head umpire for Bannock Boys Baseball and also traveled to umpire for the Rocky Mountain School of Baseball. Jake worked many odd jobs but was recently hired at UPS full time. Jake was excited to have finally found something to make as his career. Jake's greatest passion of all was being an uncle. Jake had one niece, Kaylee, and three nephews; Luke, Parker and Krozby. The kids were always learning something from their uncle, even if it was less than appropriate. Jake will always be remembered by his niece and nephews as Jake the Snake. Be at peace, I LOVE YOU with all my heart and soul my baby boy, my little JAKEY man. To everyone who knew my son, Thank You for being his friend. The hardest thing in life to do is to the right thing. These choices are hard. Jake, you did it. Rest in peace with our family and friends. I would walk through fire for you son, like I have always told you. I LOVE YOU and I will see you on the other side of your life. Your POPS. Jake is survived by his father, Brett, mother, Marla, sister, Jennifer Weinheimer (Jason), brother, Branden (Aubri), niece, Kaylee Davis, and nephews, Luke Davis, Parker Weinheimer, and Krozby Arnold.
