Jack G. Manley passed away quietly in his sleep on July 11, 2017. Jack was born July 21, 1932 to Joseph & Viola Manley in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jacks father was a miner in Nevada and Death Valley, California. Jack spent his young years in Round Mountain, Nevada, Ash Meadows, Nevada and Death Valley Jct., California; where he graduated high school in 1949. Jack then joined the Navy where he was an air traffic controller until honorably discharged in 1954. Jack started working for Wells Cargo Inc. as a truck driver from 1954 to 1964 living in Luning, Reno and Las Vegas, Nevada. In 1964 Jack went to work for Ringsby Pacific heavy haul before buying his own trucks and starting Manley Enterprises. Later, Jack put his trucks on with Casazza Trucking out of Sparks, Nevada starting the southern division. Jack was with Casazza approximately 20 years before buying his own authority and changing his business from Manley Enterprises to Vegas Trucking. Jack retired from the industry in 1995 living in Pahrump, Nevada and later McCammon, Idaho. He was baptized Baptist and was a member of the Inkom Community Bible Church. He loved to camp, hunt, fish and golf. He loved to travel with his wife and enjoyed life. Jack passed 10 days shy of his 85th birthday. He will be truly missed by family and friends. Jack is survived by his sons, Joseph G. (Karen) Manley, Soda Springs, ID, Robert A. (Debbie) Manley, Spanaway, WA; step daughters, Della (Jeff) Joyce, Inkom, ID, Debbie (Ted) Marcoccia, Henderson, NV, Laura (Bud) Comstock, Carlisle, IA; 20 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen R. Manley; son, Steven L. Manley; parents; sisters, Joann and Ruth; and brothers, Robert, Andrew and Joseph Ward. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 11 am at the Inkom Bible Church, 251 Grant Ave. Inkom, Idaho 83245. Inurnment will follow at the Inkom Cemetery.
