Jack David McCormick, 67, passed away at 9:50 am on December 12, 2023.
He is survived by his daughters, Jessica, Jennifer, Rosie; and son, Chris; brother, Ronnie; and grandchildren, Kaylie, Kayden, Jada, Junior, Annabell, Trenton, and Andy. He basically took everyone under his wing. If he liked you, he loved you.
His dad and mom and two siblings were all killed in a train accident when he was 7 years old. He was the only survivor. His grandpa and grandma raised him. His grandpa told him, “You have 2 days to grieve. After that we move on.”
He enrolled in the Marines at 15 years old because “that’s just how they did things back then.” There he was an expert rifleman and received numerous medals, including a Purple Heart. He was honorably discharged in 1974. He became a union man, and also joined a motorcycle club.
He married Frances Melenia Denman on April 25, 2014. They were meant to be. Frankie had the honor of taking care of him for many years through multiple health issues. He needed a strong woman by his side, and Frankie was blessed to be his person.
Even through his failing health, he had a passion for bringing out the best in people. He was an excellent physical trainer, whether it be body building, power lifting, or getting men ready to become Green Berets or Navy Seals. His last masterpiece was assisting and helping Brittnay Ward lose 200 pounds and put her in the Idaho Boise Cup Wellness and Figure Division where she placed numerous medals and trophies. He never gave up on anyone. He loved life and he achieved almost everything on his bucket list. One thing on that list was having a litter of poodle puppies.
Anything Jack put his mind to happened. The only thing he said he regretted was that he didn’t spend more time with his baby. Frankie was his baby, and his Harley was his baby girl.
