Jack Chapple

Jack Kevin Chapple, 59, returned to his heavenly home surrounded by family at Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho on January 9, 2025.

Jack was born to Jack Sr. and Delores Schritter Chapple in Pocatello, Idaho. He has two sisters, DeeAna and Delora, whom he was very close with. Jack attended schools in Pocatello and graduated from Highland High School. 

He was married to Leanna Phobe Chapple for many years until Leanna’s passing in 2014.

Jack was proud of his hard work ethic and ability to do a great job. Most recently, Jack worked for the Pocatello School District as a Janitor for Lewis and Clark Elementary School. This position brought him much joy. 

Jack was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. 

Jack is preceded in death by his sweetheart, Leanna in 2014, sister Connie Moffat in 2007, niece Lanna Birrell in 1977, and his parents Jack and Delores Chapple. 

The family expresses sincere gratitude for the Portneuf Medical Center ICU Cardiologist Care Team for their tender and dedicated care to Jack.

He is survived by his sisters DeeAna (Gary Harbart) Birrell and Delora (Denny) Russell. 

Funeral services for Jack will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing the hour prior at the LDS Church, 550 W. Cedar Street in Pocatello, Idaho. Interment will follow the funeral services at the Aberdeen Idaho Cemetery.
