POCATELLO " Nadine Fouch, 95, a resident of Pocatello for 6 years, passed away November 22, 2009, while a resident at the Gables Assisted Living Home on South Bannock Highway.
She was born January 2, 1914, in Belden, North Dakota, as the fourth of six children. She had 2 sisters and 3 brothers all of whom are deceased.
She married her late husband, William Fouch, in December of 1939 and their marriage lasted 64 years before he died in 2003.
She was baptized as a Jehovah's Witness in 1953 in Barstow, California, and looked forward to the further fulfillment of Bible prophecies.
She was raised on a North Dakota wheat farm and grew up with a strong love of animals that was centered especially on horses, dogs, and cats. Prior to moving to Pocatello, she and her husband, Bill, operated a cattle ranch outside Portland, Oregon, raising prize winning Polled Herefords.
She is survived by her son, William “Bill” Fouch of Pocatello; four grandchildren, Nancy Marie Fouch of Colorado, Michael (Chona) of Chula Vista, Califronia, Jorja Fouch of Pocatello and Joshua Oquendo of Blackfoot; and two great grandsons, Samuel and Lucas Fouch of Chula Vista
