Helen Hill

Helen passed away unexpectedly on March 3, 2018.

Helen was born in Santa Ana, California to George Earl Tryon, I, and Goldie Crofford.

Helen met the love of her life, Jimmy Walton Hill, Sr, in 1946 and married him June 3, 1950. They set up house in Glendale, Arizona where Jimmy worked at a large creamery.
After having lived in Arizona for 3 years and having their first child, a little girl, Nina May, named after both of her grandmothers, they moved to Descanso, California. They lived on different ranches in the small town. She loved being a rancher's wife and mother. While living in California, they added to their family 2 boys, Myles Earl, named after both of the grandfathers, and Jimmy Walton named after his father.

After approximately nine years later, Helen and Jim loaded up the family and moved back to Arizona on the Hopi Indian Reservation. They then added another little girl, Carrie Jane, named after a great-grandmother and great aunt. Helen and Jim learned to love the Indian people and worked with them in business and church callings. After 15 years, they moved to California, Montana, and back to Arizona and then to Idaho.

Helen was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she held various callings: ward, stake, and mission.

Helen loved her four children, 16 grandchildren, and 35 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by two sisters, and four brothers. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister .

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Pocatello 29th Ward LDS Chapel, 1700 Kinghorn Road. A viewing will be held from 6-8:00 PM, Tuesday, evening at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road, and from 10-11:30 at the church prior to the services at the church. The interment will follow at Wardboro, Idaho.
